1. WordPress Command-Line
Earlier this year, we informed you of a new tool fund at cPanel >> Home >> Applications >> WordPress Toolkit.
WordPress Toolkit gives you the ability to install, manage, update, secure, test, clone, stage environment, backup, and restore all WordPress sites in minutes.
Today, we are reminding you that there is yet another great WordPress management tool you can use called WP-CLI.
To learn more about WordPress Command-Line, please visit our new documentation page.
2. WordPress Manager Removal
Before the availability of WordPress Toolkit, there was a cPanel developed plugin called WordPress Manager.
It was designed to provide our customers with an easy, dependable, self-service method for managing WordPress sites through the cPanel interface.
WordPress Manager though has been deprecated in cPanel 92 and we will be removing it before or on March 5th, 2021.
For new WordPress installation, please use WordPress Toolkit instead of WordPress Manager to install, configure, and manage WordPress.
Softaculous WordPress Manager will still be available and you can also use this if you prefer Softaculous provided applications.
Thanks and have a great week.
